Once there was a girl, who loved a boy, who only loved jelly beans. Over time, the girl became jealous of the jelly beans; jealous of their rainbow colours; jealous of the way they nestled into the boy’s palm as he jingled them in his hand in preparation of tossing a handful into his mouth. She was particularly covetous of the proprietary way the jelly beans were allowed to dance upon his tongue. This is the continuing story of a girl, some jelly beans and a boy who did not share.
